We are fortunate that Alice Mathias, director and producer extraordinaire, has generously agreed to spend time with us at 3 pm Eastern on Sunday, December 4 in a Casual Conversation. As a short introduction to her work, you can read the short biographical sketch that she supplied, below. Also, I would suggest that you visit her website: alicemathias.com . This should be a great session with an accomplished talent in the field of performing arts.
She is, of course, one of the daughters of our esteemed classmate, John Mathias, who participated in a Casual Conversation early on about his work representing individuals who faced prosecution for death penalty cases. His appearance stands as the most popular of all our sessions (except possibly for Sandy Alderson’s Casual Conversation—let’s call it a tie).
The usual rules apply. Email me at arthur.fergenson@ansalaw.com by the close of business the Friday prior to the event, in this case being December 2. I will send out a Zoom link that Friday or the next day.

P.S. Those of us who attended the Portland OR mini-reunion some years ago were treated to an informal discussion with Alice. She is delightful to speak with. And she was responsible for my being featured in a non-speaking role in Portlandia, wearing a Native American headdress and carrying a spear, for which I remain eternally grateful.
