Mills, Clifford W. (8/16/2015)

Clifford W. Mills, Jr., died in Jacksonville, Florida on August 16, 2015. He was born in Connecticut in 1947, obtained his B.A. from Dartmouth College (the infamous class of 1969), and his Master's from Boston University. His career at John Wiley & Sons, Publishers, spanned over 35 years; he was an editor of many diverse disciplines, a publisher for the sciences, and, in his later years, a freelance project manager. He moved from Westport, Connecticut to New Hampshire to raise his son in the magical town of Meriden, where he and his wife Rosemary lived for 25 years.

Verb, John Robert (3/22/2005)

John R. Verb of Somerville, NJ, died March 22, 2005. John had resided in New Jersey nearly all his life, born in New Brunswick, raised in Helmetta and lived in Somerville the past 20 years. After graduation, John served in the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant on the ammunition ship USS Nitro AE-23. He received his M.B.A. from Stanford University in 1974. John was a builder who owned and operated Moorehouse Construction Co. in Somerville, and was a member of the Somerville Architectural Review Board.

Docherty, Patrick Joseph (10/1/2003)

Our Patrick Joseph Docherty passed away on October 1, 2003. While he was listed on the College’s announcement as living in Great Falls, Virginia (9641 Georgetown Pike, 22066, no phone listed), his place of death and its cause are unknown. His next of kin is listed as Linda Melandinidis, a sister (95 Cindy Drive, Buffalo, NY 14221-3059).

Patrick came to Dartmouth from Levittown, NY, where he was in the National Honor Society and student government; he played football and was on the track team.

Luckury, Robert (3/21/2002)

BRADFORD — Robert Luckury, 54, of Dunfield Road, died Thursday at his home. He was born in Manchester, the son of Michael and Florence (Hunkins) Luckury. He was raised in Claremont and lived in Bradford for the past 22 years. He attended school in Claremont and graduated from Stevens High School in 1965, Dartmouth College in 1969, and Thayer School of Engineering in 1972. Luckury served with the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1972. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Turner Group in Concord and Dufresne-Henry Inc. in Springfield, Vt., for the past eight years.
