Mini-Reunion

A mini-reunion of sorts took place in The Low Country of South Carolina in late May. John and Elizabeth Beck arranged to spend a couple days in Sun City Hilton Head with Dudley Kay and Jill Ford on their trek from their Naples, FL, retirement home to their cooler summer home in CT. Jill, who had just earned her Master Naturalist certificate, thought it might be a good idea to get together with Jerry and Missy Schulz.

Mini Reunion at Citi Field, July 7th

The (somewhat) annual Class of '69 Mets mini-reunion will be held on Saturday, July 7th on the occasion of the 4:10 PM game at Citi Field. The game is against the Tampa Bay Rays.  Classmates plus one guest are invited, with tickets, food and beverage, and parking provided. 

Roy Hitchings sends a photo of a gathering of '69s in his home town of Camden, Maine, with this comment:

The photo was last summer and the 69ers are from left to right: Peter Imber, Clark Doran, Roy Hitchings, George Cook and Allen Petersen. Allen was visiting but the other 4 have homes here in this beautiful part of the world. Roy

Thanks to our own Allen Denison, there was a hugely successful gathering of '69s and friends in the Porland, Oregon region this summer.

As always, Sandy Alderson really knows how to throw a party.  After a brief rain delay, the game got underway although the party had already started in the two luxury suites Sandy provided.

Food and beverage in abundance as well as conversation and laughter.  The Mets lost but it was close.
