I went through the whole story starting with Eleazor, ‘500 gallons of rum’, the NH legislature’s attempted takeover, complicity of John Wheelock and of course Daniel Webster’s role. Moved on to the 5-1 Supreme Court decision from the Marshall court and its significance long term for contract litigation.
Arthur Fergenson reports that Rabbi Arnold (Arnie) Resnicoff, a member of the Class of 1968 who graduated with us in 1969 and has participated with us in multiple in-person and virtual events, will be one of the 48 inaugural recipients of the new Vietnam Veterans Memorial “service beyond service” award, to be celebrated at this year’s Vietnam Veterans Day ceremony, 1:00 pm ET March 29, at the Wall. It will be live-streamed on their Facebook page.
