In lieu of a published obituary, these comments from his wife, Sarah Mott:
"I have to sadly report to you that my husband, H. Tulley Mott passed away on 27th April 2024. He was optimistic until the end and had hoped to attend the reunion next week. His battle with cancer was relatively short and he died peacefully at home.
He was buried at Ft Logan in Denver where other family members rest in peace.
He loved Dartmouth, as you all do, and we were fortunate to spend last Thanksgiving at the Hanover Inn and wandered down memory lane, even relaxing in the Baker Library for an hour. He was always grateful for the experience of his time in Hanover."
