The Clif Family story began on a bike and the adventure continues as we look to create a greener future.
Every Clif Family product is made with the highest quality and care while having the lowest impact and cost to the planet. The limited production wines come from organically farmed estate vineyards in Napa Valley’s Howell Mountain and Oak Knoll District AVA's and from grower partners in Mendocino. They also organically farm the olives, fruit, and vegetables that go into their food products and work with suppliers to source organic ingredients that they can't grow.
The Sales Director at Clif Family Winery is Katie Henshaw (Dartmouth Class of ‘00), the daughter of our own John Myers. Katie is overseeing this tasting for us. The menu for their tastings fluctuates seasonally. This tasting features a different grouping of wine and food pairings from that which we experienced in March of 2021.
Clif Family is featuring a Seasonal Tasting:
- 2021 Napa Valley Chardonnay paired with Organic Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels
- 2020 The Climber Napa Valley Bordeaux-Style Red Blend paired with Organic Rosemary Roasted Almonds & Pistachios
